Why the pacing
Each stage is anchored before the next begins.
Climbers call a secured section a pitch: you only move on when the last one holds. We borrow the idea, not the scenery. A design is agreed before it is built; a build is tested before it is submitted; a release has an owner before it goes live.
It is a working habit rather than a promise of speed. Some pitches are short. Some need to be climbed twice. We will say which is which.
